Yiling Fan received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUI Galway, where he developed his interest in computational modelling. He gained research experience in using finite element simulation for a wide range of topics, such as multi-physics thermal-mechanical modelling, fracture mechanics, and cardiac mechanics. In TTDD, his research focuses on using computational modelling to study various of therapies for cardiac diseases. His goal is to continue on working in the field of healthcare science and do translational research. Outside of the lab, he is interested in playing badminton and basketball.
