Jonathan received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technilogy in 2021. In the summer of 2020, Jonathan joined the lab as an undergraduate researcher with the Epicardial Patch project, designing and developing a minimially invasive surgical tool to deliver the patch to porcine hearts. After staying on the project for his entire final year of undergrad, Jonatahan eventually joined the lab as a resaerch assistant in Fall of 2021. His current project involves the optimization of a repsiratory simulator to test surgically implanted diaphragmatic assist devices. Outside of the lab, Jonathan enjoys reading, dancing and semi-professional DJing,
